SOME of the North's most famous names from the world of sport, television and film would always be a big presence in the Royal Box at the Challenge Cup Finals at the old Wembley.
Prominent in this picture is actor and screenwriter Colin Welland, who grew up in Newton le Willows and taught in Leigh.
He was famous for his Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for Chariots of Fire (1981).
He also won a BAFTA Award for his performance as the teacher who encouraged Casper in Ken Loach's 1969 film Kes.
Welland was a big Warrington fan as a young boy - and took his love for rugby league to London when he was one of the big backers of the fledgling Fulham side.
But can you pick out the other famous names - especially the sporty son of a former Barrow, Workington and Wales rugby league international?
