Crowd at Knowsley Road in the 1950s
THE names on the scarf proudly worn by the young lad on the wall give away the date away for this wonderful face in the Knowsley Road crowd.
Early 1950s Saints heroes Stan McCormick, Jimmy Stott, Jimmy Honey and Bill Finnan have been embroidered into this youngster's colours.
This was a popular feature at the time.
The picture shows that Knowsley Road packed in a real cross section of men, women and kids on the terraces.
