A SEVENTEEN-YEAR-OLD boy from St Helens was rearrested by police last night in a murder investigation.
Detectives investigating the murder of 18-year-old Kyle Whitley in Litherland in April arrested the boy on suspicion of murder on Monday, December 14.
Kyle was fatally stabbed in Vincent Road, Litherland on the afternoon of Monday, April 13.

Of five arrests made in the investigation, one of the suspects is a 17-year-old who lives in St Helens.
Following continued enquiries into the murder, the 17-year-old boy from St Helens was last night rearrested on suspicion of murder and possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs.
He has been taken to a police station for questioning.
Last week Kyle's mum made an emotional plea for anyone with information about her son's death to come forward.
To date five people have been arrested in connection with Kyle’s murder, three of whom remain under investigation.
