SCHOOLS have sent a warning letter to parents after a report of a man exposing himself to a girl this morning (Monday, December 14).
A warning has been issued to parents by some schools following the incident which is believed to have happened on Bleak Hill Road, Windle at around 8am today.
It is understood Rainford High School has reported the matter to the police.

Police are appealing for information after the report of an indecent exposure.
It was reported a man exposed himself in the Bleak Hill Road area.
The man reportedly pulled up next to a child in a black car before exposing himself while inside the car, and driving away.
The offender is described as having dark shoulder-length hair.
Community Sergeant Kath Rackham said: "I would like to reassure the local community that we take any incident of this nature extremely seriously.
“This would obviously have been an upsetting incident for the girl. She did exactly the right thing in making staff at her school aware as well as her parents, and we want to hear from anyone who can help us identify the offender so we can bring him to justice.”

A warning letter issued to parents by schools stated: "We have been advised by Rainford High School of an incident which occurred on Bleak Hill Road at approximately 8am this morning.
"A man with dark, shoulder length hair, driving a black car, exposed himself to a young female pupil.
"This has been reported to the police by the high school."
