A SUSPECTED burglar charged with escaping lawful custody at Whiston Hospital will appear in court today (Monday).
Officers were called to a property in Court Hey Avenue in Roby on Friday, December 11 following reports of a burglary.
Jewellery, including bracelets, gold rings, watches were stolen as well as Christmas Cards.
A suspect was detained by officers nearby.
Michael Trevillion, of Barkbeth Road, Huyton, has been charged with burglary of a dwelling.

Trevillion, 41, has also been charged with escaping lawful custody at Whiston Hospital on Saturday, December 12.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens' Magistrates' Court today, Monday, December 14.
