PUPILS of a schools reception classes and nursery will not return until after the Christmas holidays due to a case of coronavirus among staff.
The nursery children and pupils in the reception classes at Wargrave Primary School in Newton-le-Willows are isolating, the council has confirmed.
The children are undertaking remote learning and will not physically attend school again until after the Christmas holidays in the new year.

Six members of staff from the school are also isolating due to a member of staff who works in both reception and nursery testing positive for COVID-19.
A St Helens Borough Council spokesman said: "Remote learning has already been put in place as neither group will be returning until after the Christmas break."
