BIG-HITTING second row Dominique Peyroux is leaving Saints to join Toulouse Olympique at the end of the 2020 season.
Although signed as a centre, Peyroux switched to the back row with great effect after eventually forcing his way back into the team in 2017.
He built on that in 2018 with his tough performances on the right edge being missed when he suffered a broken arm as the business end of the year approached.
He was strong and consistent throughout last season’s Grand Final winning campaign.
Peyroux said: "I want to thank everyone at the club especially 'Kez' (Keiron Cunningham) for giving me the opportunity to re-establish myself as a player in the Super League.
"Also to Justin Holbrook for all the work he did with me last year. My family and I have loved our time in England and I will always cherish the Saints fans who have been great to me.
“Thanks also to my teammates. I have made friends for life and I wish them and the Club all the best for the future.
"At the moment my main focus is doing my job for the team and finishing off the season as we did last year - hopefully with another Grand Final winners ring!"
Peyroux, who will join fellow Saint Joseph Paulo in France in 2021, joined the club from New Zealand Warriors ahead of the 2016 season.
Kristian Woolf said: "Dom has been at the Club for five years and has been a really respected and popular member of the squad. He had a great year in 2019 where he was a consistent starter as our starting back rower as he helped the Club to Grand Final success.
“We are well aware that this season he hasn’t quite had the opportunities he wanted and so we are really happy for him to have that at a great club and area in Toulouse.
“We thank Dom for his service at the Saints and we wish him, Grace and his family all the best for the future over in France in 2021.”
So far Peyroux has made 120 appearances, scoring 19 tries.
