SAINTS forward Jack Ashworth has appeared at Blackburn Magistrates' Court charged in connection with incidents at his then girlfriend's house on Christmas Day 2018.
Ashworth, 24, of Crowther Street, Rochdale, pleaded guilty to damaging walls belonging to his then girlfriend by punching holes in them.
He pleaded not guilty to stealing £100 from a Christmas card belonging to the victim.
Ashworth was remanded on bail until February 3 when his trial will be held at Burnley Magistrates' Court.
The criminal damage matter will be sentenced at the end of the trial.
In a statement earlier this year, Lancashire Constabulary confirmed it had carried out an investigation following reports of an incident on December 25, 2018 at an address on Market Street in Whitworth, Lancashire.
The alleged victim was Ashworth's girlfriend, who was aged 23 at the time.
Following police enquiries and after consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, Ashworth was sent a summons to face court earlier this year. The case has faced delays due to coronavirus restrictions.
