WOLVES captain Conor Coady has been handed first senior England call-up.
Coady, who attended Bleak Hill Primary School and Rainford High, grew up in Haydock and graduated through Liverpool Academy before playing first team at Anfield.
He has really impressed since joining the Black Country outfit in 2015.
Gareth Southgate has named the former Rainford Rangers player in a 24-man squad for the upcoming Nations League double-header with Denmark and Iceland on Tuesday.
Wolves captain Coady has been a mainstay for Wanderers during their impressive two years back in the Premier League, helping the side to back-to-back seventh-placed finishes as well as last season's Europa League quarter-finals.
