POLICE were called to a two-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon (August 17).
Residents reported being stuck in traffic on Parr Stocks Road, close to the fire station, due to delays following the collision.
Police confirmed they attended after a two-vehicle crash in the area shortly before 4pm.
The crash involved a Mercedes Sprinter van and a Nissan Qashqai and took place on Parr Stocks Road at the junction with Sorogold Street, Fingerpost.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said there were no reported injuries sustained during the collision.
She added: "We were called to two vehicle damage only road traffic collision at the junction of Parr Stocks Road and Sorogold Street at 3.50pm yesterday (Monday). It involved a Mercedes Sprinter van and a Nissan Quashqai.
"No injuries were reported."
