A 27-YEAR-OLD man from St Helens has been charged with drink driving after officers made an arrest in Kirkby over the weekend.
Officers said they carried out a roadside breath test on Valley Road, Kirkby on Sunday, August 16.
A man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
Police have since charged a man in connection to this.
Lee Briers, 27, of Hardshaw Street, St Helens has been charged with driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above the limit.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident a 44-year-old man was arrested on Tendlands Drive, Prescot on Sunday following a stop check of a vehicle.
Officers arrested the man on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drink.
He remains in police custody.
