SAINTS are confident Morgan Knowles will be passed fit to face Castleford Tigers on Sunday.
The international loose forward went off for a concussion assessment in the first half of the game against Leeds and never returned.
But he has recovered well, but still needs to clear the tests this week.
Coach Kristian Woolf said: “He has recovered pretty well , but he has a bit to get through in terms of the usual protocol for head knocks.

“As long as he is symptom free, we are pretty confident that he will be right for this weekend.”
Woolf explained Mark Percival’s precautionary absence last with a tight hamstring.
“At this time of the year we thought the risk outweighed the rewards. We made a decision the day before.
“Dom Peyroux, too, was a little bit crook last week and he is still having some hamstring trouble as well, so we are not quite sure whether he will be quite ready this week,” he said.
