WOMENSWEAR retailer Bonmarché's store in St Helens is one of 265 outlets in its portfolio that will remain open.
The Hardshaw Centre shop will continue welcoming customers through its doors under new owners The Edinburgh Woollen Mill Group.
The family-run business with a wealth of experience in retail acquired the retailer from administrators FRP after the business went into administration on Friday, October 18.
The store in St Helens will continue to employ six members of staff.

Store manager of Bonmarché in St Helens, Gill Rowan, said: “The store team are thrilled with the news that we are remaining open.
"We would like to say a special thanks to all our customers for their support and messages of encouragement.”
A spokesperson from Bonmarche's head office added: “We would like to extend a big thank you to The Edinburgh Woollen Mill Group for acquiring the business and saving so many jobs.
"We are very excited about our future and entering a new chapter as part The Edinburgh Woollen Mill Group.”
