POLICE are appealing to trace a 61-year-old man who has gone missing from home.
Family and friends of Paul Hodges, from Windlehurst, have been sharing an appeal on social media, which has been widely circulated, after he went missing from home on Tuesday afternoon (July 16).
On Wednesday evening police issued a statement, which read: "Paul Hodges, was last seen in Princess Avenue, at 1pm on Tuesday 16th July. At the time he was driving his silver Toyota Corolla Verso.
"He is described as a white male, approximately 6ft 5in tall, of medium build, with short grey hair and a moustache.
"He has tattoos on his arms with family names and the St Helens rugby club crest.
"When last seen he was wearing navy tracksuit bottoms and trainers.
"He has been known to frequent the Southport area."
