MOTORISTS heading towards Liverpool have had their journeys disrupted this morning following a crash on the M62.
The main carriageway was closed with queueing traffic due to a multi-vehicle accident on the M62 Westbound at Junction Five A5080 Roby Road (Huyton).
Fire and rescue service crews and ambulance attended the scene.

There was congestion to Junction Six (M57 Tarbock Island).
The issue affected traffic heading into Liverpool.
Emergency services have now left the scene, police confirmed.

Meanwhile, also on the M62 one lane was blocked this morning due to debris on the road and an accident from Junction Seven A57 Warrington Road (Rainhill Stoops) to Junction Six M57 J1 (Tarbock Island).
