THERE was baby joy for Saints last week as both Alex Walmsley and Zeb Taia celebrated the birth of their newest bundles of joy.
Both players missed out on Friday's game against Hull KR, with Al welcoming his second son Cassius on the evening of the fixture.
Coach Justin Holbrook revealed the prop was in line to play – but he left the ground at 6.30pm after being told being partner Simone had gone into labour.
In an Instagram post welcoming his baby son, he said: "No more fitting day to announce the arrival of this perfect little bundle of joy.
"Cassius Alexander Walmsley born 29/03/19 8:42pm weighing 6lb11oz.
"Atticus’s reign of terror is officially over as there is new sheriff in town.
"Happy Mother’s Day Simone, you’re incredible and the boys and I love you indefinitely."
