KEVIN Finney writes: “If my memory hasn’t failed me, it’s the main junction as was at the top of Liverpool Road.
“If the photo had been moved more to the left, it would have shown the road with Westfield Street on it.
“I note the top feature of the building on the right.
“It was the old Co-op. The buildings that are still there are in the process of being demolished!
“At the time I knew it, the building in front was a cycle shop.
“So possibly late 50s? I remember Casey’s army surplus store on the right adjoining the Co-op.
“Others may have more memories.”
