A DOG owner must pay more than a £1,000 after she was found guilty of allowing her Great Dane to be dangerously out of control.
Carolyn Sealeaf, 52, from Randle Avenue in Rainford, denied the charge relating to an incident at the junction of Arnian Road and Ormskirk Road in Rainford last June. But after a hearing at St Helens Magistrates’ Court, she was told the dog must be muzzled and on a lead at all times when in public.
She was fined £350, told to pay compensation of £136, a surcharge of £35 and prosecution costs of £620.
