Firefighters rescued the cat from a kitchen unit
A CAT that had been trapped behind a kitchen cabinet for two days had to be eventually rescued by firefighters
A fire crew from St Helens Community Fire Station was called out to a house on Old Whint Road in Haydock just before 11pm on Tuesday (March 8).
They released the cat by using a screwdriver to prise away the kickboard.
The cat was unharmed and the firefighters remained at the scene for around 25 minutes.
