TWO youngsters dazzled the judges with their spins and tricks in a breakdancing competition.

Ten-year-old Charlotte Stuart, from Parr and Dylan Redman, eight, both enjoyed success in the 'Junior Hordes 4' competition in Ormskirk.

Both dance with the St Helens-based youth organisation UC Crew.

Charlotte defied the odds of beating the other beginner level Break Dancers from across Lancashire and Merseyside to become the overall tournament champion in her first competition. She was crowned 'B-Girl of the Day' for her passion, enthusiasm and eagerness to win.

Meanwhile, Dylan also made it to the final beginners battle to make it a double success for the UC Crew.

UC Crew coach Tom Glynn said: ā€œIā€™m so proud of both of them, they really represented St Helens with the determination to win against the odds and both make it to the final.ā€
