JONES Rita (née Derbyshire) Rita Jones passed away peacefully at her daughter's home on 23rd August 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Stuart, a devoted mum to Kevin and Marie, and a dear sister to Jean, Yvonne, Raymond, Leslie and Stephen. A much-loved mother-in-law to Andrew, Rita was also a cherished Nan to Christopher, James, Sophie, Lucy, and Harry, and a great Nan to Holly. She will be sadly missed by all. Rita's funeral will take place at St Thomas of Canterbury R/C Church, Denton's Green Lane St Helens WA10 6SE on Monday 23rd September at 12:00 pm, followed by a committal at 1:00 pm at St. Helens Crematorium Chapel. After the service, the wake will be held at The Abbey Hotel, 1 Hard Lane WA10 6TL. We invite you to come and celebrate Mum's life with us. As Mum loved pink , you are welcome to wear something pink in her honour. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Luke's Hospice, Sheffield.
