BEESTON Ernest (Ernie) Aged 92 years. Sadly passed away on 19/05/2024. Much loved husband of the late Jane, devoted dad to Bev, father in law to Stephen, adored grandad to Ben and Sophie and a cherished great grandad to Amber, Isla, Evie, Rowan and Felix. Ernie will be sadly missed by family and friends. Goodnight God bless.X A Funeral service will take place on Friday 14th June, 12:30pm at St Anne's and Blessed Dominic followed by cremation in St Helens Crematorium. On behalf of the Melia family we have to pay tribute to Ernie (and Jane, of course) who, over the years, were fantastic neighbours to "Grandma Melia" who lived at 19 Kent Road, Sutton. We hope for Bev and family that happy memories and cherished celebrations of life well-lived will soon overtake the sadness of the loss of Ernie and be replaced with a celebration of his life.
