DORNING Derek Our family regrettably inform you of the passing of James 'DEREK' Dorning (18/09/2023). He fought ill health courageously until the end and was braver than us all. Derek was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend; who enriched the lives of those around him. Derek was the life and soul of the party, and was always up for a good laugh, he was 'a cracker'. His family and friends have been blessed with so many beautiful memories, which makes it impossible to sum everything up in words. One of his favourite pastimes was taking the stage as 'The King of Rock and Roll', he was a true karaoke professional and graced 'the springy' with countless top tunes. So we are sad to say that finally, 'Elvis has left the building'. We invite you to celebrate Derek's life with us at Greenacres at 11:30 am on the 13th of October, followed by drinks at The Unison.
