GARVEY Derek Bernard Passed away peacefully at Ainsdale Court Nursing Home, Rainhill on 16th April 2023 at the age of 92 years. Loving husband of deceased wife Teresa. Wonderful father to Lynn, Ian, Stephen, Simon and recently deceased elder son Bernard. Father-in-law to Jayne, Karen and Tracey. Loved by his grandchildren Philip, David, Megan, Justin, Rachel and Lizzie. Sadly missed by his brothers Ron and Ray and sister Irene, sisters-in-law Madge, Lil and Joan and his many nieces and nephews. Derek will be sadly missed by all who knew him for his quiet gentle nature and sense of humour. He was very much respected throughout his life for his exceptional wood working skills and the furniture he designed and made.
