TURNER Alice Winifred (nee Boomer) 9.11.1927 26.3.23 The family of Alice Turner are saddened to announce her death, peacefully in hospital, at the age of 95. Alice was born and lived in Prescot all her life. Together with her husband, Norman, they founded HSL Motor Factors over 50 years ago. HSL was based in Rainhill and known widely throughout the area. As a keen card player, Alice enjoyed attending local whist clubs and sharing her love and knowledge for the game. Her greatest achievement though was raising a family of 5 children, 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. There will be a service at Prescot Parish Church on Thursday, 20 April 2023 at 11.30am. Donations to Great Ormond Street Childrens' Hospital and the British Heart Foundation. Any enquiries to be directed to Berry and Jagger, Warrington Road, Whiston.
