CALLAGHAN Paul It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Paul James Callaghan ( known to his friends as Cal ). Paul fought bravely and left us at the age of 62 on 31st January 2023. The world loses a true gentleman. He is much loved and leaves behind his dad Derek, his children Joanne, Neil, Reece, his partner Gill plus grandchildren Leighton and Willow who will miss him greatly. Paul, a well known chap in Haydock, who's life will be celebrated at his funeral on 7th March 2023 at St James the Great church Haydock at 10.30 am. Followed by interment at St Helens cemetery at 11.30. We request family flowers only but would welcome donations to the Brain Tumour Research charity, which is something Paul felt passionate about. We would like to invite all Pauls friends to join us at Blackbrook Working mens club 1 Sumner St Haydock to give Paul the send off he deserves. Many thanks to everyone for the kind condolence messages,cards and flowers we have received. It is much appreciated.
