McFARLANE Thomas Gerald 'Tom' Passed away on Friday 30th September 2022 aged 99 years with his Grandsons by his side. Beloved husband of the late Bess and wonderful Dad to Linda and Son-in-law Steve. Much loved Grandad to Simon and Jonathan and to Simon's wife Jeneen. And Grandpa to his Great Granddaughters Amelia Lily and Olivia Grace. The funeral took place on Thursday 20th October at All Saints Church, Sutton. The family of Tom would like to thank all family and friends for their many kind words of sympathy and the cards, flowers and donations received in his treasured memory. Thank you to the many people who attended All Saints Church Sutton, and the burial service that followed at St Nicholas Church. Special thanks to Reverend Lynne Jackson for her kind ministrations, to the representatives and Choir of All Saints Church for their help and kindness and to Tom's Grandsons for their wonderful tributes to their Grandad. A huge thank you to the British Legion for supporting Dad on his final journey, their representation was an honour to his memory and to us his family. Thanks also to Sutton Oak Flowers for their beautiful floral tributes. Many thanks to Margaret, James and all at Garvey & Young Funeral & Bereavement Service for all their help and support at this difficult time. All of you ensured Tom had a memorial service he would have loved and most certainly deserved. Tom was a very special man who will be missed by all who knew him. Our love and thanks to you all.
