SMITH Mavis Mary née Almond We are heartbroken to announce that Mavis peacefully passed away on 19th September age 89 at Whiston Hospital surrounded by her family. Devoted mother to Ann, Trevor, Stephen, Keith, Gary and Gail, a dearly loved grandmother, great grandmother and mother-in-law. She will be loved always and greatly missed by all her family and friends. A funeral service will be held at parr St Peter at 10:30am on Friday 14th October followed by burial at St Helens crematorium at 12:00pm. A celebration of life will then be held at the Sidac club, everyone who knew Mavis is welcome to join us to celebrate what a kind loving woman she was. Lastly all flowers welcome as people who knew Mavis will know how much she loved them. Mavis's family would also like to say a massive thank you to Whiston hospital for being so amazing during her final days, also Duffy suite at St Helens hospital were Mavis spent many weeks before.
