APPLETON Douglas Peacefully at home on 15th September 2022 aged 97 years, with his loving family by his side. Devoted husband to Late Betty Appleton. Loving dad to Michael, Nigel, Diane and Kathryn. A much-cherished Granddad to all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Douglas will be sadly missed by all his relatives, friends, neighbours and all who knew and loved him. Funeral service to be held at St Helens Crematorium on Friday 7th October at 11.30am. Family flowers only please, Donations if desired for RNLI or Cancer Research UK.
