OAKES Margaret Mary (Peggy) Sadly passed away on the 5th July at Parr Nursing Home with both her daughters (Margaret and Barbara) by her side, aged 97 years. Loving wife of the late David (deceased May 2019). Devoted mum of Margaret and Barbara, much loved mother in law of John and Ian. Cherished nan and great nan to all her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all. A Requiem Mass for Peggy will be offered on Thursday 4th August 11.30am at Holy Cross R/C Church followed by interment in the family grave at St Helens Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Cancer Research c/o the family or funeral director.
