DARLINGTON Annie (Owen) Nee McCONVILLE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Annie on March 7th 2022. Husband to Alan who survives her after over 63 years together. She will be greatly missed by her children, sole surviving sibling Derek and all her remaining extended family and friends. Depending how you knew her she was Ann, Annie, mum, nan, nannie, Annie, Mrs D or even Oggy. She was a shining light in so many lives and the heart of any party. The world suddenly seems a darker place. The funeral is at St. Vincent de Paul, Derbyshire Road at 12:30 on 31st March, followed by burial at St Helens main cemetery at 1:30pm. In honour of mum's love of Saints we are asking anyone attending the service to please wear something red and white. Sign in to add a tributeAlthough it was many years since I saw her, she was thought about and spoken about often, always with love and laughter. Heaven will be an even happier place now that Auntie Annie is there.
