SEED Geoffrey of Henbury Court, Eccleston, died on Tuesday 7th December aged 90 years. Geoff was a loving father of Judith, Gillian and Elizabeth and grandfather of Rosalind, Matthew, Alice, Joe, Dan and Rachel. The funeral service will be held on Friday 24th December 12.30pm at Christ Church, Eccleston followed by a burial in St Helens Cemetery. Family flowers only, any donations kindly received will go to Willowbrook Hospice. All enquiries to Co-op Funeral Care, St Helens, 01744 23675.

It is with much sadness to learn that my very good friend Geoff has died. I first got know Geoff in 1946 when we were in the apprenticeship program at
P B’s Sheet Works then both age 16. Geoff asked I attend Ravenhead St. John’s Church and Youth Club with him. Along with Geoff’s wife Beryl and my wife Jean we became good friends. Although Jean and I emigrated to the USA to reside in Maine in 1966, we kept in contact. Happy that I Was on the phone with Geoff a couple of weeks prior to Geoff’s passing. It was a quality chat of good old times, had no idea of what was round the corner. To all Geoffs family and his friend Elizabeth and his many friends. Peace and God Bless. Rest In Peace Geoff , And now you are with your Wife Beryl once again.
