Send us your music hall memories
MY friend Gary Conley, an ex-miner now who is involved with The Dream, has started a project called Clubland.
When I first met Gary in the 80s, he was a compere and guitarist at Windle Labour Club, one of the modern successors of the 19th Century music halls.
Please send any of your memories of these venues to me and I will pass them on. I hope to produce a booklet on this topic.
