Recognise anyone from the Rivington Road cup final team?
RIVINGTON Secondary school - or Big Rivvy - produced plenty of excellent rugby league players over the years.
It is maybe not surprising, especially when they had the likes of former Saints great John Mantle and ex-Barrow full back Steve Tickle on the staff in the 70s and 80s.
And here is a Rivington team-shot ahead of a big schools final at Knowsley Road - it looks like it is from the 1980s.
Can any readers pick themselves or their relatives out of it and give us a date and any details of how the game went?
