When and who St Helens darters will be playing in World Darts Championships

THE three St Helens darters will all make their entrance tomorrow (Wednesday) in the William Hill World Darts Championship at London's Alexandra Palace.

Michael Smith, Stephen Bunting and Dave Chisnall now know who they will be playing in their round two matches after the conclusion of the opening round matches.

Bunting is first up of the trio in the Wednesday afternoon session and he will take on Andy Boulton, who defeated Deta Hedman 3-1 in the first round.

Wednesday evening’s session sees Chisnall take on former World Youth Champion Keegan Brown.

Brown claimed a straight sets triumph against Ryan Meikle.

Fourth-seed Smith will face World Championship debutant Jason Lowe who defeated Russia's Dmitriy Gorbunov in four sets.

After Wednesday’s ties there will be a three-day Christmas break.

The third and fourth rounds will be held from December 27-30, with the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final being held from January 1-3.
