TWO of the St Helens Tri club's top coaches tasted success the following week at the Oulton Park Duathlon.

Robert Chesters set new best times on the run stages to finish in under 1hr10, placing fourth overall and win the M35-39 division. Bethany Forber took a resounding victory in the F20-24 class, while her mum Christine was flying the flag for key workers as she hit her best form of the year, recording a time of 1:35:08 to take third in her category.

Eddie Hirst has achieved so much in the five years of St Helens Tri and he added another chapter to his impressive track record at the Outlaw Half Ironman in the East Midlands. In windy conditions he was one of the fastest on the bike and set a 1:36 half marathon time to finish top 15 in his age group.
