ST HELENS arrows ace Michael Smith moved into Round Four of the William Hill Darts Championship after beating John Henderson 4-2 at Alexandra Palace.

Smith, who the nine 180s and averaged 100, came from 2-1 down to triumph, after taking the last three sets.

Henderson had capitalised on two missed Smith doubles in the deciding leg, to take the first set.

Smith levelled and was two legs up in set three before letting that one slip.

But a clean sweep in set four saw Smith bounce back to tie the match at 2-2.

And he wrapped up the last two sets confidently to progress to the last 16 of the showpiece event.
