ST HELENS Tri have enjoyed a fruitful fortnight.

Highlight of the weekend was Shirley Fox, Myka Heard, Mal Balmer and Steve Williams representing Team GB at the ETU Age Group Sprint Distance Triathlon Championships in Glasgow.

Williams followed up his standard distance European Championship from last month with a bronze medal in the sprint distance showpiece.

Richard Seville secured 12th place in the Capernwray Triathlon and Sarah Taktak’s remarkable season continued as she repeated her junior category win from Llanberis at the Snowman Triathlon in North Wales three days later.

Charlie Stirrup's form continued as he recorded a top 10 at the Howgills Triathlon, while Lee Stinch placed in the top 50 at the Preston 10 mile road race in a time of 1:14.22.
