Prescot were in no holiday mood though and dispatched their hosts with some superb hockey.

Blackpool did rally but more goals from Doyle, Heaps and Johnson saw Prescot set another record for Division One scoring twelve away goals and inflicting Blackpool’s heaviest ever home defeat.

With other results going their way, Prescot moved up to second in the table of North West One.
