Big Striders turnout for Wirral cross country event
A HUGE turnout of St Helens Striders crossed the water on Sunday over to the Wirral for a muddy cross country race in the 2016/2017 league at Arrowe Park.
A total of 15 men and eight ladies made up the huge 23-strong Strider field.
Jon Jo Doherty was first male Strider over the line followed by Kev Brennan second and Richard Seville third.
First female Strider home was Kelly Marie Hamilton, followed by Kylie Maguire in second and Wendy Davies third.
With two more races to go currently the men's team are 10th, with the ladies in fifth position.
