Veteran Scott makes impact on hurdles
DARREN Scott, St Helens Sutton A.C.’s M40 veteran, made an instant impact on his debut over the indoor 60metres hurdles at Sport City, knocking over a second off Phil Robinson's previous club best performance recording 9.96 seconds.
Scott also competed in the 60m flat race finishing third in 7.53secs ahead of the much-fancied Declan Taylor from Blackpool and Harrow's Andy Lewis.
