PRESCOT Men's hockey team lost only their second game of the campaign as a growing injury list finally took its toll.

Boulton (2) and Chris Lomax scored the Prescot goals in the 5-3 defeat at Manchester - but they now go into the Christmas break with a very healthy 27 points and huge 40 plus goal difference.

With other promotion contenders all dropping points and Prescot having a game in hand it is all to play for in 2017 as Prescot chase back to back promotions and a return to North West One.
