NEXT week is Tinnitus Awareness week running from February 3 to 7. A specialised van will arrive on Friday, February 7 and be situated outside the Town Hall and staffed by hearing professionals from St Helens’ long established Hearing Centre based at 34, Hall Street.

People who believe they may be suffering from tinnitus or any other hearing problem is welcome to call in between 9am and 5pm for free advice and information.

Tim Hennel of The Hearing Centre said: “Tinnitus – ringing in the ears – can be an extremely distressing condition that affects many people. Sometimes people try to put up with it but help is out there.” For further information visit www.tinnitus.org.uk
