SAINTS skipper Jon Wilkin has been charged with making a reckless high tackle during Friday's win over York.
The 57th minute incident is classed as a Grade B offence and, if found guilty, carries a punishment of 1-2 games.
The match review panel deemed that Wilkin strikes York wing Adam Dent with the arm midway through the second half.
He has up til 11am on Tuesday to submit an early guilty plea, which would mean he would miss Hull away but be free for Magic at Newcastle the following weekend.
With Luke Walsh injured, Lance Hohaia gone and Paul Wellens still sidelined with a hip injury, it does leave Saints in difficulties at half back
There is the possibility that Travis Burns will move to seven and allow fit again Jordan Turner or Grand Final utility Mark Flanagan to fill in at stand off.
