A MAN who died close to the Tesco Express store at Windle Island was aged in his 50s, police have said.
A number of police vehicles and officers were seen near the store on Sunday morning, June 9.
Police confirmed that a man was found dead outside the premises.

On Sunday, a spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "We can confirm that emergency services were at a premises on Rainford Road in St Helens this morning (Sunday, June 9) following the death of a man.
"The man was reportedly found outside the premises just after 6.50am when emergency services arrived.”
They added his death is being treated as “non-suspicious” and that police “are not looking for anyone else in connection with his death”.
The shop was temporarily closed on Sunday morning and was later reopened.
When asked for an update, a police spokesman said on Monday morning a file has been prepared for the coroner, with the death confirmed as “non-suspicious”.
He added the man was aged in his 50s.
