Motorists travelling along the M62 should expect delays (Image: NYP)
THERE are reports of long delays on the M62 this morning.
It follows an accident on the motorway eastbound from junction 10 M6 junction 21A (Croft Interchange) to junction 11 A574 Birchwood Way (Birchwood).
Traffic reports, nia monitoring service Inrix, state there is congestion to J8 (Warrington West) and also M6 J26 (Orrell Interchange). One lane is closed.
Lane 1 is CLOSED on the #M62 eastbound between J10 #M6 and J11 #Birchwood for recovery of vehicles involved in a multi vehicle collision.
