FIRE crews have rushed out to a car that was engulfed in flames this afternoon.
Emergency services attended the scene on Parr Street, in Fingerpost, shortly after 1pm today, Thursday, March 7.
All occupants of the car were outside the vehicle before crews arrived, a fire and rescue service spokeswoman said,
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.

A Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service spokeswoman said this afternoon: "MFRS is in attendance at an incident at Parr Street, St Helens.
"A crew was alerted at 1.03pm and one fire engine was on scene at 1.11pm.
"On arrival, the crew found a car fully involved in fire. All occupants were out of the vehicle prior to their arrival and appeared to be uninjured.
"One firefighter wearing breathing apparatus began fighting the fire under general observation using a hose reel jet. At 1.19pm the fire was extinguished and the crew worked to make the scene safe.
"The crew is getting ready to hand the scene over the Merseyside Police and leave."
