FAMILIES will be grinning like Cheshire cats when a Queen of Hearts’ Garden Party week of fun will take place at Knowsley Safari Park.

An action-packed trail of puzzles, theatrics and photo opportunities, will run from Monday May 30 until the Jubilee Bank Holiday on Friday, June 3.

Included in the regular Safari ticket price, a free Queen of Hearts’ Garden Party trail map will be given on entry to the Safari, with the trail operational between 11am and 5pm daily.

St Helens Star:

Guests will seek out Alice in Wonderland characters at key locations throughout the Foot Safari, where they’ll be challenged to solve riddles to earn stamps on their maps in return for fun stickers.

After re-charging at the new Outdoor Food Court or Oasis restaurant, with freshly-made dishes including loaded fries and pizza and delicious build-your-own desserts, families can immerse themselves further into Alice’s Wonderland with a game of flamingo-themed croquet for £1 and for £4 children can make their own crown with The Queen of Hearts, which they can take home as a memento of such a special day.

Rachel Scott, Head of Marketing, Knowsley Safari says: “Our interactive Queen of Hearts’ Garden Party trail is a fun and cost-effective way for families to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee.

St Helens Star:

“Guests can still see all the animals on the Safari Drive and the Foot Safari, in addition to doing the themed trail, so this half term we really are offering a jam-packed day out for all.”
