Road closure after vehicle fire
A ROAD closure was in place earlier this afternoon after an oil spillage and a vehicle fire.
A stretch of A557 Watkinson Way southbound in Rainhill was shut shortly after noon on Saturday.
Traffic reports state there was heavy traffic following the spillage and vehicle fire near junction seven of the M62 at Rainhill Stoops, Rainhill.
