FIREFIGHTERS tackled a van fire in Rainhill last night, Monday.
One fire engine was sent to Warrington Road at 8.05pm where a van was well alight.
The crew used a high pressure hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
They were in attendance for around 25 minutes and left after damping down.

Police blocked off the road in both directions while the fire was being put out.
